Congratulations to the Guzzlers on a great season.
The baseball trifecta was completed on Thurs. Sept.17th.
First was the tournament in July. Second was clinching the pennant with 38 points ( 18-4-2) and an amazing +/- of +102 (173 for and 71 against).The third and final chapter was winning the league playoffs.It was only fitting that the Guzzlers and the Knights( who tied the Guzzlers @ 38 points) met in the finals.
Although the Knights seemed to have left there "A" game in the semi-finals, you cannot take anything away from the Guzzlers.
They brought every aspect to the field. Pitching,hitting,and fielding, yielded 2 identical scores of 7-1.
Once again congratulations to the Guzzlers for a great season.
Stan`s Diner looks forward to trying to dethrone the Guzzlers.
