2008 BMFL Playoffs

On the BMFL Website, there doesn't seem to be any place for the scores for the 2008 playoffs. Perhaps, players could post them here.

Game 1: Mr. Electric (sporting new uniforms) defeated Stan's Diner 8-5

Luc came in of relief of Nick Bowman and pitched a good game and picked up the win. Stan's Diner started strong, scoring 4 runs in the first 2 innings, including a 2 run Homerun by Stephane Vinette. Derek Bergeron was able to hold Mr. Electric's offense until the 5th inning, when Mr. Electric broke out for 8 runs. Ryan Naylor came in relief for Derek.

Word on the street is that the Guzzlers lost 5-4 to Good Ol' Boys in the bottom of the 10th.

Stan's Diner beat Mr. Electric 1-0 last night to win the series 2-1.

Pierre Lalonde got the complete game shutout while Nick Bowman went the distance in the loss. Stan got their run via the wild pitch by Nick.

Hats off to Stan's, IMO the most improved team in the BMFL this season. Sounds like it was one heckuva series.

Nick, don't worry about a wild pitch, I'm sure you pitched your heart out and your teammates all know that.

Knights took game #1 by score of 2-0, with Blakely ringing up 17 or 18 K's. Game two tonight (Tuesday, 16th) at 8pm.
