Here is the list of bats that are not approved for BMFL games. Softball Canada does not currently have a bat approval program. However, all bats must comply with the current Amateur Softball Association (ASA) standards. The umpires have been checking from time to time and this is the exact same list that they are using. Any bat found on this list will be removed from the game. Yes there are pictures for those of you who don't want to reach into your ball bag to find your bat's model name and number. www.asasoftball.com/about/build_batlist_w_pics.asp

I wasn't able to make the meeting last night as I was working but I find it STUPID that we would follow a list all year and then with just a few games remaining we decide not to anymore. The GOB will be losing their team rep and the league will be losing their Vice President. Sometimes I wonder why we bother...

Sorry Ty if I caused you "professional or family hardship".
Wonder how Ivan felt when you said good riddance if he decided not to come back to the league next year.
Angel I am not and neither are you.
At the end of the day the RIGHT decision was made. We went back to the list that we used all year.
Now lets play ball !
