Why did the Knights and Stan's not play their game on Sunday?

There were combined 5 players, including 2 pitchers from the teams who were playing for Valley in the Manotick tournament.

The Knights were prepared to play this game. Stan's asked us if they could reschedule because they didn't have enough players. The Knights have five pitchers so I don't think lack of pitching will ever be a reason for us to not play this year.

On the other hand Stan's only has two guys that can throw across the plate. And both were not able to make the game.

Maybe Stan's should go to 13 players as they are once again having problems getting 9 nine guys.

Re PPD Game Stan`s could not field a team as Marv was not available and Derek was in a tournament in Manotick. There goes the only two pitchers that we had at the time. Dave was also on Derek`s team, Ross was injured, Scott was not available ( I`m not sure if he was playing in the Manotick Tournament), Jessy our catcher was away and I was out of town. Twelve - seven = five of our own which would constitue a forfeit. We did go up to 13 players with the addition of Mike Campbell who showed up for 2 games only and finally said he had to quit. We have gone to the reserve list once again, and have added Derek Leclair as a cathcher. Jessy seems to be injured the past few games and Derek who has filed in also hurt his thumb the last game. Even though we are back up to 13 players don`t be suprised when I approach the teams from the game before ours looking for players to make it up to 9. Dennis
