Just a note, especially to the older players in the league.
Noticed in the obituaries today that former BMFL player Joe Creedon passed away on Tuesday October 7th. Joe was 58 years young.
Joe could always be seen sitting on the arena side wall about an hour before game time applying a tube of
A-5-35 to almost every part of his body and then putting on a knee brace or two along with a back brace all the while puffing on a cigarette. He would play his game and if another team required a spare player for the next game, Joe`s hand was the first one up. After the game or games, Joe would sit with the team and apply an equal amount of A-5-35 to his body especially the spots that ached just a little more than when he started. I`m sure he has started a fastball league up in heaven, where he can play without pain, and A-5-35 and all the braces and supports. Sad to see you go so soon. Until we meet again, play the game clean and remember no swearing up there. My sincere condolences to Joe`s family.
