It has been an interesting off-season to say the least. Not as many blockbusters as expected but still some big news and changes for the 2013 season.
The Knights are losing 2 key players in Guy Millette and Tyler Cox. We are still unsure if Ryan Cox will be returning this year. Which leaves us with a roster of:
Jamie Blakely
Ryan Chatten
Brett Dugan
Gerry Sancartier
Mike Brownhill
Matt Edwards
Derek Martin
Steve Mayer
Both Ryan Clare and Adam Grier will be re-entering the draft as they were picked up off the reserve list mid-season.
The new team will be named the Blue Jays I believe with Andy Barber at the helm the roster should be filled with young talent, who i'm sure will make a push for the top.
My prediction for 2013 is:

Jays
Knights
Gob
Elecetric
Rogues
Goodfellows

Those are some big losses, can you confirm Pierre? he is still a top pitcher/ hitter in this league that would be a huge loss. seems as though this will be a good draft year could improve some teams big time if chosen wisely.. heard rumours of Hargrove entering the league that could be a big one......

What is the word on the number of teams playing this year? Will we be having an 8 team league? any teams folding, which players are NOT returning??? what are the numbers like for NEW members? I feel like there hasn't been much talk of this years upcoming season..Ball season is just around the corner!!!

There will be 8 teams in the BMFL this season. The schedule was issued to team reps tonight and should be posted on the site in a few days.
After todays evaluation I have to say, that is by far the most balanced evaluation i've seen in 4 years. No one who came out today looked out of place at all and any player drafted will most likely be a plus to that team drafting him.
There are more rumours swirling about another possible trade but I wont spoil it for everyone just yet.
Can't wait for the games to start, being out on the field today makes me wanna play so much more now.

Felt real good last weekend coming out and tossing the ball around with the new and old guys. Can't wait to start playing and hopefully pitching this summer, I sure have missed the fun of playing fastball in my few years of hiatus. See yeah all on the field!
