Regular season, smegular season. The GOB fans are getting restless still waiting to see if they can win the big game!!! Sure they are a good team...stacked with a lot of pretty boys...lots of flash and dash...but will they get their noses dirty...drive to the net and go in the corners in the big game. They may have too many Europeans on their team...Stefan Boveyson, Stefan Coreyson, Sergei Potvinanov, Andrei Dundin, and of course their Swedish captain...Johan Tremblayson. Maybe they will run into another hot goalie in the playoffs...like last year. Yes...the jury is still out on this team until they win the big one...but hey Ottawa fans are accustomed to underachieving teams...so get in line GOB. Time to go know...the phone just rang...the jewellery store calling...I have to go pick up my championship ring...had dropped it off for it's annual polishing.

I believe the conversation went something like this.
Umpire: Wayne, was that a ground rule double, or did it go over?
Wayne: It was a ground rule double, it bouced over the fence, i swear Mr. Umpire Sir.
Then lets fast-forward to a few hours and a few beers later.
Observer: Wayne, that went over didn't it
Wayne: d**n right it went over

From shortstop it certainly looked over, lol not that it would of made a difference, lol but just goes to show, we all make mistakes, some more than others, (me of course) should of been caught anyway
