For those who might be interested in a fastball tournament after christmas, I got an email with some info from David Fox who organizes slowpitch league at the Louis Riel dome...
Hi Derek:
We'd like to include a fastball division at our annual Christmas indoor softball tournament Monday Dec. 27 (a stat holiday as Christmas & Boxing Day fall on a Saturday & Sunday) at the Louis Riel Superdome (the 2nd largest superdome in Canada). Cost is $400/team for 4 games. What do you think? I'd need 6 fastball teams to make this happen (format to be decided by the teams). Could you get a couple of fastball teams, or at least forward the info to other fastball teams? Visit our webpage at: indoorsoftball.ca

Hopefully this sparks some interest from the bmfl and maybe some teams can combine and enter the tournament! Some food for thought anway.
