The 2010 Blackburn Mens Fastball League champs are the Guzzlers!!

Congratulations to the Guz on their 2-1 series win over the Knights. It was an amazing series to play in and im sure the fans would agree that it was a treat to watch these two tems go head to head for the championship. Both teams battled to the very end in what was quite the seesaw afair.

Im sure no one will question or oppose me naming Jeff Barber the 2010 Playoff MVP. Great series buddy.

To all BMFL teams, a great season was played by all and i look forward to playing next spring. See you at the banquet.

I couldn't agree more, Jeff was a threat at the plate all playoffs, hitting 3 homers against GOB and was lights out in the finals on the mound (perfect game in game 2). I haven't been in the league long but this was the best playoffs I've seen. Lots of great games especially with all 3 series' in the first round going the distance. The crowds were great too making the games alot of fun to play in. Congrats to everyone on another great summer of ball and looking forward to it next season. Hopefully everyone can make it out to the banquet!

I must say, that was one of the best fastpitch playoff series' that I have ever seen. Every game was great. Gm #1 was a thriller with a come from behind 2-1 win for the Knights in 8 innings. Gm# 2 with a perfect game being thrown to help tie the series up at a game a piece, and Gm# 3 being an exciting roller coaster ride with both teams having the lead and the Guzzlers pulling off the 5-4 win. A ball player couldn't ask to be in a better series then that. Timely hits and great pitching on both sides sure made this a very exciting series. There was a good sized crowd out to support both teams which was nice to see as a player and as a fan.
