Playoffs

So with the playoffs fast approaching i've been wondering and im sure others have to, just how are they gonna work this year?

Top team gets a bye?
Only the top 6 make it?

And are the series still going to be best of 3 and best of 5?

I heard around the diamond and parking lot, that the top team gets a bye, with 2vs7, 3vs6, 4vs5.
The 1st and 2nd rounds are best of 3.
The finals will now be best of 5.
Maybe an executive, or team rep, who was at the meeting pertaining to this issue can confirm this.

That information is correct.
Also the first place bye into the second round is mandatory.
