...that the mound at the Tauvette diamond is too close?? I know that I have had more success there (no-hitter, 3 hitter, both shutouts in the two games I've started there and Jamie Blakely threw a 1-hitter there on Sunday) and I see a lot of guys who are usually pulling the ball against me seem to be a bit late.
Someone want to measure that to confirm, I guarantee that it's closer and my guess is that it's about 2 feet shorter. It's supposed to be 46ft from the front of the rubber to the back corner of the plate.
